About FFA

FFA is one of three integral components of an agricultural education program: classroom instruction, supervised agricultural experience (SAE) and student organizations. Students between the ages of 12 and 21 who are enrolled in a systematic course of instruction in agricultural education are eligible for membership. Your local school system must offer agricultural instruction and have an active FFA chapter for you to join.

State Officers & Chapters

FFA is structured on three levels: local, state and national. Tennessee FFA is led by a Board of Directors and the State Officers lead the membership. Local FFA Chapters are chartered through the state associations.  Tennessee reported 14,084 members, 322 advisors, 216 chapters, including 7 collegiate chapters.

Mission, Motto, Creed and Constitution
The Tennessee FFA Association makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

History and Structure
The Historic Preservation Project has been very successful to date.  We are still looking for items, information, publications, photos, etc.  We will make a digital copy of your items and return them to you.  If you have anything that should be included in this project, please contact Mark McBride at Mark.McBride@tfbf.com, Steve Gass at steve.gass@tn.gov or the Tennessee FFA Foundation office at 931-372-6050 or tnffafoundation@tnffa.org.

Camp Clements
Camp Clements is the oldest state FFA camp in the nation. Since 1927, it has been training and developing leaders in agriculture. To read about the history at Camp Clements click here.
