Re: Bray Leadership Fund Scholarship for Camp

I am very pleased to inform you about an exciting opportunity for a Tennessee FFA member to attend FFA Camp. Brenda and Dale Bray have served the members of Camp Clements for several years, and have seen firsthand how the leadership program has made a positive difference in the lives of many students over the years.

Because of their love of youth and Camp Clements, they have provided the financial funding to establish the Bray Leadership Fund that provides five (5) two-hundred dollar ($200) scholarships for five Tennessee FFA members to attend Camp Clements each summer. The Bray Leadership Fund Scholarship Program will be open to Tennessee FFA members from a rural area that has a financial need that would prevent them from attending camp.

The Bray Leadership Fund Scholarship will cover the camp registration fee, cost of a camp T-shirt, and camp picture. The balance of the scholarship can be used for the purchase of any camp clothes (i.e. swimsuit), travel, snacks and other camp supplies or expenses.

Please complete the application and return it to me at the State FFA Office by May 1. The scholarship is for members that you know truly have a financial need from a rural area. A chapter may submit up to two applications.

Brenda and Dale are very excited about the development of this program to help our members. The only additional request is that the recipients of this award be introduced to the Dale and Brenda upon arrival to camp. We are blessed to have the Bray's as part of the FFA Family. If you would like to contribute to the Bray Leadership Fund, please send your contributions to the Tennessee FFA Foundation with "Bray Leadership Fund" in the memo line of the check.
