My SAE is primarily aquaculture. I work with my grandfather raising catfish. However, on my family farm we also have
cattle, goats, and chickens. We also have a large strawberry operation.

| How You Got Involved In The FFA: |

I was not very involved my first year in FFA, but my advisors were very persistent and convinced me to become
actively involved. They showed me that even a shy, quiet girl can become a leader in her chapter.

My mom, who is my best friend, and my advisor, Mrs. Ann Johnson, who believed in me and realized what I could
become even before I did.

I am attending Tennessee Tech University, majoring in Agricultural Education.

Have no regrets. Make the most of every opportunity presented to you in the FFA. Don’t wait until your senior year to become
involved because you will wish that you had become active sooner. Set goals for yourself and stay focused on those goals,
and you can really achieve whatever you set you set your mind to.

| If You Could Travel Anywhere In The World: |

Truthfully, I would like to stay in the United States. I would love to travel all over the U.S.
... Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, the Hoover Dam, the Rocky Mountains, the Grand Canyon, everything
west of the Mississippi ... before I would ever think about traveling to another country.
