My SAE was in small animal care and production. I also have a SAE in home and community development

Parliamentary procedure is definitely my favorite CDE and I was fortunate enough to be able to
compete at the national level. I also enjoy job interview, prepared public speaking and soil judging.

| How You Got Involved In The FFA: |

I started out my freshman year in high school not really knowing too much about agriculture and the
FFA, but throughout my high school years I became very involved and passionate not only about
FFA but also about agriculture.

| Most Influential Role Model: |

My role models are my mother and grandmother because of their amazing ability to
overcome obstacles and keep their head up with a smile on their face.

| Most Memorable Moment in FFA: |

MStanding on stage at state convention and hearing our chapter called out for first
place in parliamentary procedures. The feeling that I had was absolutely indescribable.

| Future Plans: |

I am currently attending the University of Tennessee and majoring in agriculture economics.
I plan to graduate in 2009 with a bachelors degree and become and agriculture economic analyst.

| Message To The Greenhand Members: |

Do not think there will be time later to do things that you can do now. The present is the best
time to get involved and it will give you more time for amazing opportunities throughout high
school. Get involved in as many contests and events as possible, it is the best way to learn.

| If You Could Travel Anywhere In The World: |
| |
There are so many wonderful places I would love to see, but the one place I have always wanted to
go is Italy. I want to see the difference between the cultures throughout the world.
