Describe your SAE: My SAE consists of a herd of limousine cross beef cattle and a small herd of Hampshire swine.
What is your favorite CDE: My favorite CDE is the extemporaneous public speaking CDE because I love the feeling of not knowing what is going to be your topic until you walk into the CDE.
Most memorable FFA moment: My most memorable moment is the first time I ran for office and got to walk on the stage and introduce myself at a session and being able to get to look out at all those blue jackets, it was unbelievable.
Who is your role model? My grandfather, he was raised “dirt-floor poor” and dropped out of school at the age of eight years old. He worked his entire life to have a house that was paid for and thirty acres of land. He is the one reason that I fell in love with agriculture and I will never forget him for that.
What are your career plans? My career plans are to major in agricultural education and teach agriculture at my home chapter of Page and be the FFA advisor. I would like to get my masters and hopefully earn my doctorate in agricultural education and be a teacher educator some day at the college level.
If I could travel any where in the world…. I would travel to Egypt to see the Pyramids, I have always thought that they are a great testament to man power before cranes and other construction equipment.
