"FFA Night at the Dixie Stampede"

TN FFA is excited to be partnering with Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge
for our opening night kick-off event to the convention. Come join the state officers for an evening of fun,
entertainment and great food as we fill up the Dixie Stampede with the Blue & Gold. The event will be on
Sunday, March 28! The 6:00 p.m. show will be the FFA show and we invite all teachers, members, and guests
to arrive early to convention and participate in this exciting event. The Dixie Stampede has offered a special rate
for this show; one that can only be received through the Convention Registration site. For $27 per person you will
get a souvenir boot mug and drink while enjoying the carriage show, the main theater show and a four course
country meal. To receive these special rates and guarantee your space, you must order your tickets through the
FFA "Convention On-line Registration Site" on or before March 5. After which, you will be subject to full price of
tickets ($50 regular or $38 group rate). Also, all remaining tickets after the 1st will be released to the public for
purchase. TN FFA is also being offered several special perks if we sell out the show; so jump on
board and make this an event to remember for your students.

Chuck Wicks was a 2009 Dancing With The Stars contestant and is an American Country music artist.
He will be performing his hit songs including Stealing Cinderella, Man of the House, What If You Stay,
and All I Ever Wanted.
Something new for the 82nd state convention is a concert just for
FFA members and advisors. Nashville country music star Chuck Wicks will be performing
Monday night of the convention, March 29 in the general session hall of the
convention center. We have two ticket options for chapters. VIP Seating tickets
can be purchased for $20 and will get you a meet and greet with the performers,
special front section seating, and a “Heart of Country” CD which features Chuck and several
other major country artists. General Seating tickets can be purchased for $10 which will
get you open, general seating to the concert. Hurry and get your tickets fast as
we only have a limited number of both. Only 200 tickets will be sold for VIP Seating.
These prices are good for pre-registration only and will go up for late or on-site
ticket purchases.Tickets will be $10 each.

Convention Dance

Join the state officer team as they send the convention out in style as we bring back the ever popular
convention dance. The dance will take place after the State Degree practice (9:15 p.m.) on Tuesday,
March 30 in the Four Seasons Motor Lodge conference center (tentative). Space is limited so be sure
to get your tickets early through the on-line registration site. Entrance to the dance is $5 per student
(pre-registration) and $8 (Late or On-site registration). We encourage all teachers with students
attending to also attend and help chaperone. If you know for sure that you are willing
to supervise the dance, please contact the State Officers as soon as possible.
