At its organizational meeting on November 2004, the Sponsoring Committee members pledged their commitment to help meet the goals of the FFA Foundation. Strategic plans were laid for fundraising by the Foundation. Governor Bredesen has included $1.75 million in his budget for the past several years,

The Tennessee FFA Foundation is a non-profit organization established to help support the high school and collegiate youth program that provides personal development opportunities and prepares young men and women for careers in agricultural-related fields. Currently, there are about 30,000 students in agriculture education in Tennessee.
